The Lost Tombs of Thebes: Life in Paradise, will be published by Thames and Hudson in November. Beautifully illustrated with photographs by Sandro Vannini, the book tells the story of the private tombs in the Theban area at such sites as Sheikh Abd el-Qurna, Dra Abu el-Naga, El-Assasif, and many others. The book is also being published in German by Philipp von Zabern, under the title Die verbotenen Gräber in Theben.  The American University in Cairo is also printing a version of this book for sale in the Middle East.
