Bob and Kathie Wind presented Dr. Zahi Hawass with a replica of the bus of Nefertiti, which is currently housed in the Neues Museum in Berlin. Bob announced that this gift is to show gratitude for Dr. Hawass’ efforts to bring the famous bust back to Egypt, and they expressed their wishes to see the real bust in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The replica was presented in an official ceremony attended by many Americans. Afterwards, Dr. Hawass gave a lecture about the recent archaeological discoveries in Egypt.
