A new partnership is being formed between the Ministry of Tourism and Zahi Hawass. Her Excellency Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, the Minister of Tourism, met with Zahi Hawass to discuss the possible cooperation in the upcoming promotion campaigns that intend to focus on the much-anticipated opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum in 2020. The new campaign, “People to People,” aims at promoting Egypt as a safe country to tourists. Hawass expressed how happy he is to help Egypt and the Ministry of Tourism to promote tourism. The first event of the campaign will take place in November at London’s World Travel Market.
