For them, the tomb was a place of immortality in which the deceased was united with the god Osiris. The scenes depicted on tomb walls play an important role in the journey of the deceased to the Afterlife. They also represent a celebration and enjoyment of the deceased’s life with scenes of musicians and dancers.
