Zahi Hawass’s adventures in Peru continues today as he went to see the famous mummy called Lady of Cao, which was discovered at the site of El Brujo. The mummy is now at the museum. Hawass, then went to visit the museum of Tumpas Reales De Sipán. Sipán is probably the most important discovery in Peru, where many intact tombs were found by Walter Alva. Dr. Alva graciously explained the discovery to Hawass and he invited him for lunch at his house next to the museum. Hawass stated that this discovery rivals that of Tutankhamen tomb.
