The mayor of the city conference for the media channel in a palace dated to the last century hosted all the important journalists to meet Zahi Hawass who talked about his future projects and ongoing discoveries and work. He also answered all of their questions.
Also the mayor gave him the key to the city as an honorable gift before the lecture, then Zahi thanked the mayor for hosting this reception for his attendance.
He talked about the relations between Egypt and Romans that lasted for centuries, especially in the search for Cleopatra
Zahi announced to the public that Egypt is safe and invited everyone to come and visit Egypt.
Zahi Hawass’s lecture in the roman theatre in Italy. More than 1000 italian citizens have attended this lecture to see dr Hawass’s slides explaining all the recent archaeological discoveries for an hour and a half after the lecture they ran to take pictures with him. Finally the Golden City movie by the discovery channel was screened for 40 minutes.
